The BID Task Management team is responsible for end-to-end management of planned workloads across Amazon. This includes projects, programs, and cross-organizational initiatives. As part of the BID Task Mgmt Team, you will rely on data and insights to influence the vision, author compelling prose to influence your team and stakeholders, and will skillfully cultivate high-trust relationships by owning and delivering on the vision. Success is predicated on high attention to detail, spot-on judgement, and ultimately an unbending predisposition that vigorously advocates for the customer.

Key job responsibilities
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Task and Project Management initiatives, you will execute on high priority enterprise level initiatives, and influencing across different senior VP-level organizations.
- Assist in delivering on a product vision and build strategy by working backwards from the customer and define/drive overall program strategies and roadmaps.
- Partner closely with business leaders, product, engineering, security, privacy and other cross functional teams to create roadmaps and scope programs
- Aligning roadmaps with business priorities, define milestones and success metrics, and build scalable, secure, reliable, efficient AI capabilities that evolve our Customer’s experience.
- Utilize metrics to deep-dive issues and uncover business-driving trends and patterns.
- Define and execute project plans, assembling resources and developing processes associated with product rollout and ongoing support.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, evaluating their potential application towards our products.

This means anticipating bottlenecks, making trade-offs and balancing the needs of the business versus technical constraints. Our Builder Issues and Discovery org in ASBX owns the Task & Project Management tools that software developers use to build and innovate on behalf of our customers.
