Technical Operations

Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help ensure our planes are well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Key Responsibilites:
As a **Senior Technical Planner – Base Maintenance** , you will manage heavy maintenance visits at in-house and vendor facilities. You’ll be responsible for building, coordinating, and delivering accurate work packages that align with scope, labor, and cost expectations. This role involves cross-functional collaboration and the use of data to drive continuous improvement.
+ Build and deliver timely, accurate maintenance work packages within budgeted labor hours and timeframes.
+ Coordinate with Engineering, Materials, Tooling, and other departments to ensure all requirements are met pre-visit.
+ Support maintenance stations during aircraft visits and adjust work packages as needed.
+ Communicate revisions, special requirements, and schedule changes to key stakeholders.
+ Analyze post-visit data to identify process improvements and optimize future planning efforts.
+ Lead planning meetings with internal teams and vendors to monitor visit readiness and progress.
+ Recommend and implement process improvements using data-driven insights.
NOTE: This position is based at the CSC-Willis Tower, located in Chicago, IL, and is considered a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office.
**Qualifications**
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
· Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in aircraft maintenance, maintenance planning, supply chain, engineering, or a related aviation field.
· Solid understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance programs.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with a strong understanding of Excel and PowerPoint.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
· Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
· Successful completion of the interview process. Reliable and punctual attendance.
· Ability to travel up to 25%.
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
· FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
· 1+ year of planning or management experience.
· Experience in continuous improvement or project planning.
· Skilled in data analysis and modeling techniques (statistical, optimization, simulation).
The base pay range for this role is $87,780.00 to $119,680.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
