Our Content Acquisition (CA) department is all about capturing and integrating data to provide our customers with the information they need. The department is comprised of several teams including: Pricing, Research, Exchanges and Venues, Client Service, and Contracts. Our primary responsibility is developing real-time market data feeds from exchanges. This includes leading projects, building relationships, solving challenging problems for clients, and exploring business opportunities with the exchanges. You will be responsible for all exchange products across APAC, working closely with Sales, Software Engineering, Networks, Enterprise Solutions, and exchanges to ensure the successful delivery of exchange products to Bloomberg customers. **We’lltrust you to:** + Translate exchange documentationand technical specifications into business deliverable for new exchangedata on Bloomberg + Manage projects in conjunction withtechnical project mangers, software engineering, and business stakeholders + Become a true subject matter expertin exchanges data by utilizing business intelligence to help spot trendsand identify gaps & areas for data acquisition and data contentimprovements + Support existing exchangeimplementations and act as overall escalation point for any issues withexchange market data + Build strong and collaborativerelationships with exchanges by having a deep understanding of thetechnology they use, their data goals, and challenges in order to offeroutstanding services + Work closely with a global team ofmotivated account managers, technical specialists, relationship managers,and product managers to better understand our clients' data needs ortrends to set company strategy around exchanges data acquisition andensure your account strategy is aligned with it + Acquire/possess deeper knowledgeregarding exchange provided products and how they impact our clients andtheir workflows **You’ll need to have:** + A bachelor's degree or higher inrelevant data technology or financial field, or equivalent qualifications + 5+yearsof recent work experience in the financial services industry, includingexchanges, market data providers, or financial institutions + Ability to discuss deep technicalconcepts, lead cross-organizational teams, evaluate trade-offs, and deviseinnovative solutions with engineers to deliver on demanding schedules + Demonstrated experiencehandling/managing technology projects + Demonstrated experience buildingETL pipelines + Experience building influentialrelationships with internal or external stakeholders + Strong analytical and quantitativeskills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions andrecommendations + Comfort with a high degree ofautonomy and shown ability in managing priorities from multiple internaland external partners + Strong research and analysis skillswith attention to detail + Demonstrated continuous careergrowth within an organization + Excellent written and verbalEnglish communication skills **We'd love to see:** + Proficiency in Koreanlanguage to support the APAC market + Demonstrated experience with one ormore development languages, such as Python + Entrepreneurial spirit andsolution-minded with "can-do" attitude + Proven ability to influence and lead with and without authority Bloomberg is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity at our company.
