The role
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll join a team working on developing a Systems Engineering capability in support of ongoing maintenance projects for submarines across all classes currently in-service for the Royal Navy.
Day to day, you’ll be embedded within the Submarine Project Engineering Team (SPET) working on developing the Systems Engineering approach to delivering technical risk management, requirements management and allowing incremental assurance and acceptance.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Senior Systems Engineer
Experience in using and authoring engineering documentation (such as processes, guidance documentation & management plans) Understand Systems Engineering principles iaw ISO 15288. Ability to work independently, challenge the status quo and make judgments based on incomplete information is essential. Strong communication skills and ability to converse at all levels and influence others to achieve your goals.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
