Senior Systems Engineer
A Day in Your Life at MKS:As a Senior Systems Engineer at MKS, you will partner with Engineering, Internal Teams, Customers, etc. to develop, support, execute, design, contribute, etc.. In this role, you will report to the NPI Engineering Manager. The earliest start date for this role is April 1, 2025. You Will Make an Impact By: • Responsible for the integration, design, development, support and maintenance of RF generators• Designs and sets up tests to gather DVT and other generator data.• Performs extensive and careful experiments• Collects and analyzes data and implements proposed improvements• Responsible for analyzing and solving complex interdisciplinary systems issues• Designs a complete and complex system or product • Creates Interconnect diagrams and Cable assemblies for RF generators • Creates and maintains Bills of Materials during the design process • Write and approve Engineering change orders and Temporary design notices. • Defines system specifications, input/output , and other required documents.• Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses• Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the architecture used across multiple products or systems Required Skills:• Requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of related experience Physical Demands & Working Conditions:• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 10% of the time• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery• Occasionally moves/positions Generators and/or equipment up to 20 pounds• This job operates in a professional office and laboratory environment• Travel Requirements: Up to 5 % of Travel may be required on occasionPreferred Skills: (Optional)• Knowlege of Python programming Globally, our policy is to recruit individuals from wide and diverse backgrounds.
