Senior Systems Engineer

Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our Software-As-A-Service (SaaS) infrastructure in Microsoft Azure as well as on-premises servers. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational knowledge Windows SaaS environment, Microsoft Azure, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support our on-prem and cloud infrastructure.  

Some of the things you will be doing: 

Maintain on-premises applications as well as Azure Services.  Analyze, communicate and mitigate the impact of infrastructure changes. Apply “Automation first” approach to projects and changes. Monitor and optimize resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.  Respond to incidents. Troubleshoot and resolve issues. Establish monitoring and customize the alerts. Create and maintain documentation for on-prem and cloud configurations, processes, and procedures.  Collaborate with developers, infrastructure engineers and interact with project managers.  Follow policies and procedures for time tracking, security, change control, problem and incident management.  Participate in the on-call rotation and planned maintenance activities after hours and on weekends when needed.  

What technical skills, experience and qualifications do I need? 

Strong ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues is crucial. You should be able to identify and resolve problems efficiently.  Strong scripting skills with PowerShell, Azure CLI and Yaml Microsoft Entra, Active Directory, Group Policies, DFS, Windows Server infrastructure Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, such as Azure DevOps, Github and Ansible Azure - PaaS, networking, FrontDoor, databases and storage, hybrid infrastructure with on prem and cloud, migration of applications to cloud  Azure Container application hosting and management Experience with IaC frameworks, such as ARM, Bicep, Terraform ServiceNow
