Senior Systems Analyst
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the financial services industry, located in New York, for a Senior Systems Analyst. The role involves technical and functional administration of Workday Financial modules, collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards. Responsibilities: • Serve as a specialist in Workday Financials, integrating it with internal and third-party systems • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications • Support the delivery of IT development services across the organization • Oversee the technical administration of Workday, including data loads, troubleshooting, and scheduled tasks • Design and run test plans to confirm that systems meet specified requirements and perform as expected • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures • Monitor and troubleshoot job scheduling issues, ensuring timely execution of critical processes • Create, modify, and support reports and dashboards using tools such as Snowflake and QlikSense • Write and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts to support data analysis, integration, and reporting tasks • Collaborate with developers and architects to design solutions that are scalable, efficient, and compliant with IT best practices • Provide training and mentorship to entry level analysts and business partners. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience in a Systems Analyst role within the Financial Services industry • Proficient in using Workday and Workday Financial Management systems • Demonstrable experience with Workday Studio • Proficiency in Qlik Sense and SQL • Experience with Snowflake data warehousing platform • Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex data and translating it into actionable strategies • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for conveying complex, technical information in a clear manner • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
