As a System Test Engineer at Kulicke & Soffa you operate in the center of development of our high precision, high speed component mounting machines. You are working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment and are also closely collaborating with other stakeholders such as: Product Management, Manufacturing, and our customers.

Full Development Cycle Involvement: Be a key player in the entire development process of our customer-installed base machines.
Requirement Phase: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and refine requirements.
System Integration: Lead the integration of new features, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
Feature Release: Drive the release of cutting-edge features for both our installed base and Industry 4.0 activities.

Mastering Systems and Processes: Dive deep into our systems and processes, transforming your knowledge into effective test scenarios. Crafting Test Strategies: Develop comprehensive system test strategies and plans, creating test scenarios that mitigate risks and ensure quality. Collaborative Testing: Work closely with our System Engineers and Project Leads to coordinate and execute all system test activities. Customer Insight: Gain a thorough understanding of how our customers use our systems in real-world production environments, including Industry 4.0 applications. On-Site Troubleshooting: Be the go-to expert for troubleshooting issues at customer sites, providing hands-on support. Customer Engagement: Lead initial customer interactions for sustaining activities, ensuring our installed base systems continue to perform optimally. Industry Representation: Represent the Customer Installed Base and Industry 4.0 within the System Test Engineering Team, driving innovation and excellence. Certification Advantage: Bring your test certifications, such as ISTQB, to the table and leverage them to enhance our testing processes. Educational Background: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Software, or Physics). Relevant Experience: Proven experience in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment, particularly with testing and integrating complex systems. Hands-On Approach: A proactive, hands-on mentality with strong problem-solving skills. Analytical and Practical: Excellent analytical skills paired with practical thinking and troubleshooting abilities. Team Player: A collaborative spirit who enjoys working with diverse stakeholders in a dynamic environment. Customer Focused: A strong motivation to exceed customer expectations. For our System Test Engineering team in Eindhoven, we are looking for an eager and motivated individual that is interested to grow and excel into our domain. The team consists of experienced system test engineers, who carry out a broad range of activities, all of which focus on releasing our component mounters and supporting products with the expected customer quality. The team is part of the System Engineering department and has a dedicated test area supporting these activities.
