As a Senior System Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and assume full technical responsibility for various ongoing projects. You will cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are consistently exceeded. Your role involves leading project teams, participating in multi-functional teams, and engaging directly with customer engineers and project managers. You will proactively drive projects to successful completion.
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Lead design, development, and testing of DeltaV systems, collaborating with Emerson's international engineering offices.
+ Engage with clients on design philosophies and contribute to FEED studies, while maintaining responsibility for system topology and design.
+ Coordinate multiple projects, ensuring timely completion within budget, and conduct on-site activities such as design studies, testing, and training.
+ Provide technical presentations, demonstrations, and engineering estimates, while preparing project documentation in English and Norwegian.
+ Ensure compliance with Emerson standards, manage configuration and application support, and lead a technical team across various engineering offices.
**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Degree in Engineering, specializing in automation, electronics, communication systems, or industrial IT.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles, especially within the process industry (Oil & Gas preferred).
+ Proficiency in Process Automation System programming.
+ Extensive experience with technical specifications, configuration, and programming of control systems.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Access, Word, etc.).
