about this role

Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Development & Alternate Channels, this role acts as the primary strategic advisor to the entire EMEA region, including thought partnering directly with the SVP, EMEA. It is the sole dedicated strategist role in market. This individual will be responsible for driving the end-to-end five year strategy for the EMEA region, independently owning and driving new strategy work on diverse topics as needed by the SVP EMEA and the European Leadership Team, and supporting the EMEA organization through annual Strat Planning, AOP and OKR-setting.


a day in the life

Independently own multiple strategic questions of high complexity concurrently, operating with minimal guidance and direction to solve. Apply flexible problem solving abilities (both conceptual and quantitative) to solve a variety of strategic questions across all elements of the EMEA business. Structure problems into clear frameworks that allow for decision making by senior leaders. Design and support facilitation of ELT offsites to foster strategic discussions and decisions, in close partnership with Senior Director, BD & AC and SVP EMEA. Support ELT functional offsites to translate regional strategy into functional strategies to deliver. Hold cross-functional leaders accountable for results against OKRs, and provide strategic challenge to established points of view, when necessary, in order to make the right decisions for the region. Drive forward the EMEA profitability program, and the consequential strategic decisions required on business mode, operating model and funding allocations to deliver on FY28 strategic plan goals. Communicate strategic concepts and analysis into clear, polished executive ready comms with minimal oversight. Synthesize research, strategic findings and data analyses and naturally drive to implications for the business. Attend weekly Drive Sales, monthly EMEA MBRs, and bi-weekly ELT meetings for business context and to contribute to strategic dialogues. Own development of monthly CEO MBR materials. Drive the Strat Plan and AOP process submissions on behalf of the SVP EMEA & ELT.

skills & experience

5+ years brand or growth strategy consulting experience with a top tier firm, or in house corporate experience if similar4+ years of project management experience leading cross-functional teamsAbility to handle multiple projects concurrently and manage conflicting prioritiesExperience working with Powerpoint, Excel, Smartsheet and other analytics toolsStrong communication and stakeholder-relationship skills, especially experience presenting to senior executivesExceptional organizational and time management skillsExperience working in EMEA for a multi-national company headquartered overseas a strong assetBachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
