Senior Strategic Planner
KBR is seeking a Senior Strategic Planner to support our USSTRATCOM Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3), Enterprise Center Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) customer at Fort Meade, MD. Our customer serves as principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the Nuclear C3 Enterprise within DoD and oversees systems engineering and integration for the entire National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) infrastructure. The NEC SE&I Division activities span the complex systems, programs and capabilities that compose the NC3 enterprise.
The SE&I Division serves as the principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the NC3 Enterprise within the Department of Defense. As the lead NC3 Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) arm of the NC3 Enterprise Center, the division applies and remains up to date on systems engineering best practices and translates mission and operational requirements into appropriate technical specifications and solutions. SE&I also has the responsibility to apply established standards, and, when necessary, develop new standards, to ensure seamless interoperability across the NC3 enterprise. The SE&I is comprised of 3 branches:

This is a full-time opportunity onsite at Fort Meade.
You will be a part of a major new design opportunity that will focus on engineering, analysis, and documentation of current and objective Enterprise Architectures.
What you will be doing:
+ Work with the customer to understand Division and Branch mission and goals, and collaborate with Project Managers to execute plans that achieve those organizational goals.
+ Assist the customer with the alignment of processes and resources in order to most effectively accomplish planned and ad-hoc tasks.
+ Work with our customer and other key stakeholder to support the development and sustainment of an engineering campaign plan that captures, in time block increments, programs, initiatives, and investments supporting the modernization of the NC3 Enterprise. The work includes developing implementation plans, timelines, de-conflicting work, identifying dependencies, and developing integrated planning documents and briefings.
+ Work with NEC Branch Chiefs to incorporate opportunities and new technological capabilities into the NC3 Enterprise architecture. This includes supporting the publication of guidance, directives and policy, such as completed mission engineering studies (to include artifacts) or developed interface specifications.
+ Support the assessment of new technologies and innovations, and develop technical recommendations that support evolving NC3 Enterprise requirements.
+ Write clearly, brief effectively, and communicate professionally to deliver the support our customers require.

Qualifications:
Required:
+ Active DOD TS/SCI clearance
+ 9 years of relevant strategic planning experience
+ Analyzing programs to determine requirements
+ Tracking program process and control
+ Developing and presenting reports on analysis findings.
+ Drafting program documentation to support activities to higher‐level management
+ Creating, reviewing, and tracking performance metrics
Desired:
+ Experience working with senior Nuclear C3 community stakeholders such as OSD (NII), Joint Staff, and USSTRATCOM
+ Knowledge of Nuclear C3 systems and operational and analytical experience in nuclear/strategic systems based upon experience within the Nuclear C3 community
+ BA or BS degree in one of the following fields: Business management, Engineering, Computer Science, or an educational equivalent
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Basic Compensation: $100,000 - $138,000
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
