Our Network Operations team works around the clock running United’s global operation, safely, reliably and efficiently. From dispatching and routing our fleet to coordinating with maintenance line planning and crew scheduling, this team makes caring connections with our internal customers and ultimately, United’s customers. From pushback to landing, the Network Operations team is the eyes and ears on the ground no matter where in the world your United flight takes you.
Key Responsibilities:The Senior Staff Representative – Network Operations Policy and Procedures will play a critical role in ensuring standardized practices, policies, and procedures across all Network Operations groups. This position will focus on establishing and documenting essential standards to support key projects, including the Unimatic exit, and enabling the successful execution of future initiatives. The role is vital to maintaining operational excellence, ensuring compliance, and driving alignment across the organization.
Policy Procedure Development – Develop, document, and maintain standardized policies and procedures across all Network Operations groups to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational efficiencyStakeholder Collaboration – Partner with cross-functional teams, including Safety, Training, DT, and Operations leadership, to drive alignment, gather input, and ensure seamless policy integration across departmentsProject Support Execution – Lead the development of policies and procedures supporting key initiatives, including the Unimatic exit, to ensure a smooth transition and successful implementation of future projectsOperational Alignment Compliance – Ensure all documented policies align with regulatory requirements, company standards, and industry best practices while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellenceAttend and participate in United and industry meetings relating to Network Operations, and work with other divisions, addressing opportunity to align with IATA and other standard methodologies to enable the continuous improvement of processesContinuous Improvement Standardization – Regularly assess and refine policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, address emerging operational needs, and support a culture of continuous improvement within Network OperationsFind your future at United We’re reinventing what our industry looks like, and what an airline can be – from the planes we fly to the people who fly them.
