Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
+ 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Experience in technical leadership of large software project.
+ Experience in a common server framework.
+ Experience in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Go including FrontEnd related ones (e.g., Angular, TypeScript or JavaScript).
+ Experience in common storage services (e.g., Spanner, MySql, NoSQL systems).

Security Defense Platforms (SDP) Organization is part of the Security Foundations Organization focusing on building and running products for Security Engineering. SDP is composed of multiple sub-organizations that span Bay-Area, New York, Zurich and Hyderabad.
The Endpoint Protection Platform team is a cross-functional organization with the core mission of building scalable products and infrastructure that enable industry-leading device security within Google.
The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.
+ Be a key contributor in designing, developing, and implementing the technical solutions required to achieve our vision.
+ Be responsible for building and maintaining systems that control data movement, enforce security policies, approval workflows, and create a secure yet productive developer environment.
+ Collaborate closely with security engineers, product managers, and other engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
