Senior Staff, Resident Network Engineer
Reporting to the Manager of Advanced Services, Americas, this is a highly technical role, providing post-sales on-site support for Juniper’s networking products. The Resident Engineer will be required to develop and maintain expertise on the products deployed within the customer’s network.
Clearance requirement: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph (must be verified by TA Partner before moving to Team Interviews)

Qualifications
10+ years of deep understanding of routing and switching protocols: OSPF, BGP/MP-BGP, MPLS. Direct knowledge of L2 and L3 multicast deployments. Support routine network startup and shutdown procedures and maintain control records. Configure and test hardware, networking software and operating system software. Participate in evaluation of new network technologies and makes recommendations to network architecture team regarding the integration of these technologies into the existing network. Ensures that plans for hardware and communications are adequate. Develops and implements methodologies for analysis, testing, and support of LAN and WAN networks. Diagnose hardware and software problems and replace defective components. Support operations and maintain activities and administer networks including hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations. Perform long term O&M activities to include tier 3 troubleshooting and problem resolution. Utilize complex network analysis tools to identify and correct problems in the network while maintaining logs and records associated with reported problems or situations. Prepare troubleshooting procedures for restoring the network to optimal performance levels. Assess and document current site network configuration and user requirements. Minimum Salary: $137,280.00
Maximum Salary:$197,340.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $137,280.00 and $197,340.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
