Senior Sponsorship Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sponsorship Salesperson to join our team to sell high value, bespoke, non-endemic sponsorship across the Informa Markets North America Business portfolio.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sponsorship sales, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and with clients. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify and capitalize on new sponsorship opportunities to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive sponsorship sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.Identify and cultivate new sponsorship opportunities across various platforms and events.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential sponsors.Create compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.Negotiate sponsorship agreements and ensure all contractual obligations are met.Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional sponsorship experiences.Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the market.Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights to senior management.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field/and/or a combination of education and working experience.Minimum of 10 years of experience in sponsorship sales or a related role.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level clients.Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel as needed.
