Role Purpose/Business Unit:

 

Effectively focusing on the delivering of the Global HR Operations Strategy in conjunction with the EHOD: HR Services Vodacom Group.  An integral part of the Group HR Services Leadership Team driving the Strategy across the African markets, partnering with the CSO Organization in executing the Global HR Operations agenda.  Focus areas are HR Operations Channel Strategy, Process Transformation, delivery of Global HR Operations Projects, driving Exceptional Employee Experience, delivery of Digital Excellence, fostering collaboration, driving growth, and enhancing overall Employee Experience across the organisation with a strong focus on Customers, Simplicity, and Growth. 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

1.    Involved in the delivery of the Global HR Operations & Vodacom Group HR Operations Strategy 

Co-defining the transformation of the HR Operations function to be fit-for-future and support the business with a strong focus on Customers, Simplicity, and Growth Partnering with the CSO Organization fostering collaboration, driving growth, and enhancing overall performance across the HR Operations teams in the Africa Footprint (all Markets)Drive synergy, optimization, and efficiency across the African marketsDrive minimum standards to accelerate the delivery of Brilliant Basics in HR Services across Vodacom Group


2.    Process Transformation

Continuous enhancement of HR processes to further simplify, scale, and digitalize operationsAlignment to global processes, systems, and best practicesRadical Simplification of HR Processes across the Employee Life CycleDrive the implementation of the latest and best-in-class digital HR Operations processes, technology, and operating models to ensure a consistent digital employee


3.    Involved in the delivery of the Global HR Operations Channel Strategy

Channel Strategy evolution, continuous improvement in the digital touchpoint offerings to employeesDrive Change Management with all stakeholders to deliver the required Adoption of the appropriate channels by all stakeholdersIntroduce Generative AI & RPA in HR processes across the Employee Life CycleImplement all Integrated Journeys across all the relevant channels


4.    Delivery of Global HR Operations Projects

Partnering with the CSO Organization & Vodafone Group HR in the execution of initiativesDeliver Continuous Process Improvements


5.    Exceptional Employee Experience

Creating a streamlined, simple, and effective employee journey from Onboarding through to Offboarding. This involves using Technologies such as RPA, and Gen-AI to improve the experience for all involved stakeholdersFacilitating Employee Listening Sessions and driving engagementThe ideal candidate for this role will have:

 

Must have technical/professional qualifications: 

Must have a 3-year degree /diploma or equivalent (HR)5-8 years of experience in HR Operations (HR) at a senior level requiredGood business acumen.

 

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

HR professional with credibility in HR Transformation and organisation design. Experience of working with Shared Services organisations, Process Improvement MethodologyAn understanding of current best practice and leading-edge Human Resources practices and global trends.Interacting and collaborating with High-Level Stakeholders and gaining high credibility with this group, strong focus on Employee Experience with proven negotiating and influencing skillsGood planning and analysis skills to enable business case preparation and benefits realisation tracking.Design Thinking & InnovationWe make an impact by offering:
