To maintain the Vodacom Business Continuity Management System in conformance with the ISO 22301 standard.To ensure conformance to the Vodafone Business Resilience Policy and related controls.To ensure conformance to the Vodacom Group Business Continuity Management Policy and related continuity procedures, guidelines and frameworks.To coordinate resources across groups within the local markets for testing, exercising, meetings and workshops related to business continuity projects, tasks and initiatives.To develop BCM and Crisis Management project schedules and manage projects across the local markets.To ensure that workable alternative crisis communication strategies are implemented and maintained.To undertake Business Continuity Management Tasks as required by the Principal Specialist and Crisis Management as required by the Executive Head Business Resilience.Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and maintain the Business Impact Analysis to identify critical business activities and or services and the impact during disruptionDesign recovery strategies, arrangements and tactics to ensure the continuation of critical business activitiesImplement continuity and recovery strategies/ arrangements through the development and maintenance of business continuity plansEnsuring the Crisis Management Plans and pertaining deliverables are continually up to dateValidate the business continuity and crisis management capability through testing and exercising of the relevant plans and their arrangementsAssessment of critical suppliers to determine their business continuity capabilitiesAdministration and maintenance of the Business Resilience Information SystemMaintenance of the Vodafone Business Continuity and Crisis Management (BCCC) Policy controlsTo prepare the business and collate the relevant information for the ISO22301 certificationTo maintain an effective alternative crisis communication strategyThe ideal candidate for this role will have:
Must have technical/professional qualifications:
A degree or equivalent qualification in Business Management (Essential)Project Management certification or higher (Beneficial)Business Continuity Management certification (CBCI/ MBCI/ ISO22301) (Essential)Additional professional relevant certification will be an advantage.Business Management certification (Preferable)
