An experienced delivery support resource to join our dynamic team for a smart metering project. This role entails the procurement, installation, and commissioning of smart meters, requiring a deep understanding of project challenges within municipalities and government sectors. The ideal candidate is not in a management role but brings substantial experience in delivering similar projects and supporting various aspects of project execution.
Your responsibilities will include:
Project Support and Coordination
Assist in the procurement, installation, and commissioning processes of smart meters.Support the delivery of the project, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.Sales and Proposal Development
Contribute to the sales and proposal development processes to secure project opportunities.Participate in the development of project commercials, ensuring alignment with client and commercial requirements.Financial Management
Generate client invoices and process credit notes.Align manual billing and reconcile client accounts.Drive payment collection for outstanding client invoices, supporting revenue collection.Reporting and Documentation
Develop and maintain project status reports for internal and client stakeholders.Create impact reports for senior executives and national treasury, showcasing the project's benefits and progress.Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong rapport with clientsDriving actions to ensure timely payment.Support clients in bill correction processesEnhancing the value of smart metering solutions.Networking and Collaboration
Leverage a comprehensive network to facilitate project delivery and resolve issues efficiently.Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure project success.The Ideal Candidate for this role will have:
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Matric essentialRelevant 3-year degree / diploma with minimum of 5 years Project Management relevant experience.
