Overview
The Global Business Service Center (GBSC) is a shared services center within Mastercard whose mission is to add value to our partners and serve our customers by delivering operational excellence, enhanced customer experiences, and focused business results. The Senior Specialist, Accounts Payable will execute on this mission in collaboration with peers and support of Transaction Services Leadership.

Role
•\tServes as process lead over global functions such as accounts payable in the procure to pay space.
•\tEnsures team provides quality and timely resolution for level 2 customer inquiries.
•\tManages daily operating activities as a service to deliver process automation, financial risk management and innovative customer solutions
•\tCommunicates process issues or updates to stakeholders, assesses and recommends opportunities for improvement
•\tLiaises with GBSC, regional, and business teams to ensure compliance with all represented policies and controls
•\tEvaluates financial and operational performance metrics, summarizes findings and makes timely recommendations to senior leadership
•\tEnsures compliance to SOX controls and maintains documentation as assigned and serves as a point of escalation for compliance and service level issue

All About You
•\tBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience
•\tExperience using Oracle, Tableau and Coupa preferred.
•\tExperience managing procure to pay processes with reliance on metrics-based performance management tools
•\tExperience managing a diverse, multi-functional group
•\tExperience building trusted relationships with business partners
•\tDemonstrated successful oversight of the management and resolution of high-risk issues to ensure completeness and efficiency
•\tExperience evaluating business processes and providing advice on ways to effectively streamline processes and improve customer experience
•\tAbility to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and accuracy
