Objectives:

Work closely with the Operating Divisions (ODs) to development and support (DevOps) planning target picture with focus on SC Planning landscape in China. You will support Global New Planning Landscape project team and ODs in translation of business requirements into system solutions, in compliance with BASF standards and Chinese regulations.
From a content perspective, this includes:
- Understand and challenge the functional requirements and implement them in SAP environments
- Working in an agile way within a virtual global team

Main Task:
- 了解目前在SAP APO和SAP ERP中实施SCM的发展。

- 带来新的想法/解决方案，同时关注现有代码的质量（重构、重组和优化）。

- Understand the current implementation of SCM developments within SAP APO and SAP ERP.
- Shape BASF’s future planning landscape by moving existing planning processes into cloud-based planning tools by building sustainable interfaces.
- Bring in new ideas / solutions as well as focusing on existing code’s quality (refactoring, restructuring & optimizing).
- Living end-to-end-responsibility, being able to adopt to new requirements and learning new technologies within a virtual global agile team (Scrum).

Job Requirement:

- A university degree in the area of computer science or similar.
- Excellent communication skills in English to work in a multicultural team spread across the globe
- Holistic solution design capabilities from end-to-end perspective
- In-depth knowledge around cloud based solutions - Azure (Ali) cloud, load balancing, Azure scalability knowledge
- Good understanding of cloud integration scenarios connecting via Middleware ( e.g. Kafka, SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO, Webservices..)
- Hands On Experience working with (SQL) Databases and Datalakes (e.g. as data scientist )
- Good understanding of API concepts & usage
- High interest to make solutions meet security guidelines (e.g. firewall, encryption knowledge, TCP/IP protocol )
- Openness to new trends and innovative solutions.
