Title and Summary
Senior Specialist, Product Experience DesignRole OverviewMastercard Foundry is the innovation engine of Mastercard and a hub for new product development. We do this by driving product innovation in emerging technologies and interfaces while focusing on developing a point of view to enhance existing solutions and new use-cases. We also focus on building revenue generating ecosystems and flywheels that can be standalone in adjacent segments and markets. As a Product Designer of Mastercard Foundry, you will thrive at the intersection of design, data, and technology. You will have the unique opportunity to deliver solutions and artifacts for various B2B & B2B2C digital data products from concept to launch through the Design Thinking process and agile execution. Working in a cross-functional environment, you will be expected to collaborate closely with product managers, developers, researchers, data scientist and SMEs to deliver optimal user experience to our customers.

Collaborate with researchers to understand user’s needs and behaviors
Design
Through pair-design process, select and conduct appropriate user-centered design techniques
Effectively propose design decisions, heavily influenced by user research findings
Create and test design solutions through an iterative process
Produce and iterate on experience artifacts including user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, low/high fidelity sketches, and design specifications
Study and adopt the design system to deliver digital product fully aligned with Mastercard’s design standard

Basic Qualifications
Experience in UX design for digital products from concept to launch
Experience in Design Thinking/Human-centered design
Excellent interaction design skills in prototyping, interaction models and other relevant areas
Ability to leverage and follow design systems
Ability to translate complex information into clean and aesthetic design outputs
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and formal education.
Ability to travel: anticipated to be less than 20%
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for data products, including data/information visualization
Product design experience in the payment, banking, or FinTech domains
Experience in (and appreciation for) rapid prototyping and Lean UX
Passion for working in a global, highly diverse, multicultural working environment
