Senior Sourcing Manager
Description

The Senior Sourcing Manager creates innovative and strategic sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories such as technology, operational banking services, and corporate professional services. Drives efficiency and operational excellence in deal execution, increasing profitability while reducing risk.  Acts as trusted advisor to key stakeholders.

 Duties & Responsibilities:

Work with senior corporate and business segment management in developing sourcing strategies in support of the strategic priorities of the businessEducate internal stakeholders in understanding process to engage third partiesLead cross functional team to deliver medium and high risk, medium and high complexity sourcing transactions, and competitive events in compliance with corporate proceduresCreate and maintain sourcing project records and documentationExecute contracts accurately specifying supplier responsibilities and SLAsIdentify savings opportunities for assigned business segment or categoryIdentify and implement process efficiencies, procedural changes, and best practicesMonitor and manage contract renewal and expiration to ensure sufficient time for renegotiation, termination, and conversion to new supplier as desired by the business.Facilitate third party risk due diligence assessments and third-party risk action plansOther duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degreeA minimum of 10 years of experience in indirect strategic sourcing and financial services experience in spend responsibility.A minimum of 3 years of management or team leadership experience.

 Preferred Qualifications:

Project ManagementService-oriented team playerStrong communications, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to consolidate and analyze data, draw conclusions, and clearly communicate recommendationStrategic thinkerDetail orientedResilience in ambiguous and stressful situationsProficiency in procurement toolsExperience with licensing of software both conventional and SaaSExperience working in a regulated environment
