**Description** SAIC is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for an effort in support of the General Services Administration (GSA.) We expect this role to be remote and can be worked from anywhere within the United States. Responsibilities: + Designing and developing complex software systems on a virtualized cloud environment such as Amazon AWS + Work to deliver agile software solutions using best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Adaptable Software Design. This role is contingent on award of program to SAIC. **Qualifications** Required Experience: + Bachelors Degree and 14 years or Masters Degree and 12 years of relevant experience + AWS certified architect certification + 5 years hands on experience in developing and enhancing technical architecture in a cloud environment + 10 years’ experience in agile software development including microservices and open source Java technology. + 5 years’ experience with designing and developing complex software systems on a virtualized cloud environment such as Amazon AWS. + 3 years’ experience in DevOps and CI/CD concept using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, and testing tools such SonarQube, JMeter. + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Desired Experience: + Strong working knowledge of the technical environment of one or more SAM.gov domains or FPDS.gov + Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science preferred + 5 years’ experience developing and deploying microservices in a cloud environment preferred. Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
