Senior Software Verification and Validation Administrator

**Overview**
GovCIO is currently hiring Senior Software Verification and Validation Administrator to support CODIS application development/modernization. This position will be located near Quantico, VA and will be a hybrid position.
**Responsibilities**
Verify and validate CODIS application using automated tests to ensure proper compliance with user requirements and user-stories. Support execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Government Acceptance Testing (GAT). Maintain test cases, test database and automation scripts. Report, track and provide feed-back on code defects and issues. Provide ideas for software testing improvements.
**Qualifications**
High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
+ Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a software test engineer on complex multi-tiered software to include the following:
+ Creation of formal software test procedures/scripts
+ Development of test data to be used in formal software test procedures / scripts
+ Peer review of software test scripts
+ Manual execution of formal software test scripts
+ Documentation of testing results
+ Identification and reporting of software bugs
+ Demonstrated ability to develop test plans and procedures and develop innovative ways to test software and end-user interfaces
+ Demonstrated experience supporting testing scenarios of system functionality
+ Minimum of three (3) years of working experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
+ Work experience on a project designated as Agile; specifically, being experienced with agile project management approaches.
+ Work experience using Microsoft Test Manager, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Microsoft Access, SharePoint (user), VMware or similar applications.
+ Work experience with automated testing.
+ Experience with systems engineering as it relates to set up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of testing environments.
+ Clearance Required: Top Secret

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
**Posted Salary Range**
USD $81,000.00 - USD $137,000.00 /Yr.
