The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our deliveries through rigorous testing and automation. He/she will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities/Experience/Technical skills:

• Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and design specifications.
• Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts (both API and UI) to ensure efficient and repeatable testing processes.
• Execution: Perform manual testing as needed, including exploratory, regression, integration testing
• Performance Testing: Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to identify performance bottlenecks and ensure the scalability and stability of applications.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness, including the adoption of new tools and techniques.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of product requirements and functionality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automated testing. (Min 2 yrs experience in UI and API automation is expected)
 

 Technical Skills:
* Strong test automation experience (Rest API automation/ Playwright experience preferred)
* Proficiency in Java
* Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
* Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter preferred)
* Familiarity with version control systems
* Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools
* Experience with Agile development practices
