Working with all of our key products, you will have the chance to make a real impact on the business by developing Automation test scripts to ensure that our software performs at an optimal level prior to customer release. As a member of the Automation Test Team, you will be working in a collaborative environment with developers, designers, and project manager. The nature of our work requires excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic approach to problem solving and teamwork. As this is a new automation team, you would also be required to mentor junior members of the team. You should also be self-motivated and self-starter (flexible/adaptable). Able to use initiative and investigate functionality, work with Developers and Product Manager to ensure features are fully tested with the ambition to continuously improve and a positive outlook on work and the activities presented

What you will do:

Design test scripts for automation for regression and new featuresExecution of automated test scriptsParticipate in various meetings such as daily catchup’s, planning, bug scrubs, retrospective’sIdentify, track and manage defects through to closure of the testing lifecycleContribute to test planning, designing and estimationCreating/maintaining test environments/test data

What you will need:

Qualified to degree level in Computer Science (or relevant subject) and equivalent of 5 year’s experience as a QA Automation EngineerExperience in designing and implementing modular and reusable automated test scripts using Selenium and PostmanStrong programming experience with C# and javascriptKnowledge of BDD and TDD focus on automation and understand Microsoft tech stackExperience in Continuous Integration/Continuous DevelopmentExperience of managing pipelines and working with version control systems (e.g. Git) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelinesExperience of load/stress/performance testing and creating Powershell scriptsISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in Testing a plusExcellent time management skillsExperience of Agile methodologyExperience of test management toolsTeam player/ collaborative with good communication skillsExperience in Mobile test automation
