Primary Responsibilities:
Evolves test strategy and codes to automate complicated test scenarios Advances new and reusable utilities for common test scenarios, utilities; Contributes to the library/framework to the benefit of Scrum team Contributes toward maturing CI/CD and incorporating the ATDD best practices, executing automated test suites Analyzes and prioritizes defects, usability, test scenarios and business impact Mentor team in demonstrating their capability through expertise in writing complex scenarios, critical defects etc. Innovative and qualitative approach with strategic thinking to problem statement Perform reviews of automation and application code Identify business problems and solve them to provide value to the specific state engagement Develops advanced test frameworks based on the tech stack and mentor others on how to develop the same Understand the ERA Files workflow to contribute the Remittance file processing Understand the Electronic claim processing workflow Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to achieve business outcomes Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). 7+ years of experience as an SDET / Quality Engineer / Quality Engineer Lead Functions Hands-on experience in all types of testing including unit, integration, system, sanity, smoke, regression, acceptance, performance Experience with enterprise-level test automation tools and frameworks, including both open source and commercial products Hands-on Java/C#, Specflow, Cucumber, Selenium, JMeter & LoadRunner experience Experience working in an off-shore / on-shore model Experience implementing quality engineering practices in a CI / CD pipeline or workflows, version control Excellent understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology Hands on with PERL scripting Good knowledge of ERA files, Electronic Claim Processing Process Knowledge of 835, 837 files workflow Proficiency in creating test strategies, and developing test plans Working knowledge of MS SQL, SQL query language and SQL Management Studio Good understanding of GitHubAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
