We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our NetData Event Processing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experiences in Software development, software solutioning and ability to lead/guide junior developer, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality and scalable solutions. As a Senior Developer Engineer, your will be also contributing to proposal activities, software design / solutioning as well as involving in end-to-end support product lifecycle. You will be one of our key players in contributing to success of our product/projects.

Key Responsibilities:

\n\nStrong passion on software development, coding enhancements, solving complex codes issue and always had the growth mindset (willing to learn new things).\nAbility to play the role of product Tech Lead and also leading junior developer or helping other peer colleagues in solving technical software/coding challenges.\nAlways possess inquisitive and analytical mind on your work tasks.\nResponsible in managing the priorities of technical task assignments and ability to breakdown the task and assign to other developers as well as to ensure technical documentation is complete up to date.\nActs as Tech/Senior lead of development teams on proactive providing feedback and solving product issues, managing other issues on performance, tools as well as helping/steering the development process improvement.\nParticipate and leads lesson learnt/best practice/knowledge sharing in software development area to team members and assist delivery team in the end-to-end technical implementation. Ensure audit compliance with software development area.\nYou will provide second/third level day-to-day PROD operation support, within our team products/applications and help investigate and resolve incidents.\nWith growth mindset, you shall show the strong interests in exploring AI technology as well as be the Change Agent to the team in promoting uses of new AI technology on daily works for better individual output efficiency and cost efficient.\n\n

\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or equivalents\nMinimum of 5-7 years of experience as software developer, and at least 5years of experience in implementing IT systems\nDemonstrable knowledges of web-based architectures, integration methods and strategies to support non-functional requirements such as resilience and performance as well as scalable.\nStrong/experienced in Java\nExperienced in WebLogic, RHEL Application Server, OracleSQL, PostGresSQL\nExperienced in Springboot, Jenkins and IBM MQ\nExperienced Kafka Stream is preferred.\nDetail-oriented and customer oriented, ability to develop and communicate with business and operation stakeholders.\nGood problem-solving skills backed by conceptual and analytical thinking, and systematic approach.\nTeam player with good communication skills and foster team works.\n\n

Hi, my name is Yew Keong and I’m the Team Manager. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2017, when I took over a role as Project Manager in the Reference Data team. Gaining more hands-on experience in project management has always fascinated me, so I moved to the Labelling and Capability team as Senior Project Manager. From there, I moved fast through the company ladder and soon landed a management role. In Mar-2024, I moved to a management role, being Team Manager of Event Processing.
