BASIC FUNCTIONS:

This position performs complex research, design, and software development assignments within a software functional area or product line, and provides direct input to project plans, schedules, and methodology in the development of cross-functional software products. This position performs software design — typically across multiple systems; mentors more-junior members of the team; and talks to users/customers and translates their requests into solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years of Software Engineering experienceBS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required

SKILLS:

Be expert in development languages, including but not limited to: C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular 2, SQL, CyprusStrong proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques.Strong research skills.Strong knowledge in industry best practices in developmentKnowledge of test-driven developmentGood oral and written communications skills.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Providing design input across a productActing as an acknowledged 'go to' person on coding and technical issuesInterfacing with other technical personnel and product owners to finalize requirements and estimationsCompleting complex bug fixes, and resolving technical issuesDesigning and working with complex data modelsMentoring software developers with best practices and providing guidelines
