Learn more about Splunk careers and how you can become a part of our journey!Role:As the Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of the core team that is responsible for designing, building and maintaining the Salesforce platform and related technologies. This role will focus horizontally across our Salesforce group with the goal of impacting our platform and evolving the way we work. You’ll work on challenging problems like technical frameworks and how we take advantage of features like Platform Events to build processes and how we can implement Salesforce DX. Come join a collaborative and growing organization where you can make a difference.Technical Skills:7+ years of experience implementing and supporting large scale, technically complex solutions on Salesforce and associated ecosystemExperience integrating the Salesforce platform with internal and external systemsFamiliarity with Lightning development - Aura, LWC, ideally as part of a Lightning migrationDeep understanding of overall Salesforce ecosystem and platform issuesComfortable debugging and complex implementations involving features like asynchronous processing on SalesforceYou have come from a programming background using one or more of the languages such as APEX, Visualforce, Javascript, Typescript, Python etc.Experience with salesforce CICD - Copado and Github, GitlabEnterprise integration architectures such as SOA, RESTful, ETLYou have a deep understanding of software testing with knowledge on building test plans and executing them in unit, functional and user acceptance test cycles.Functional Skills:Deep understanding on customer journey and success processesStrong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills to set up and interpret logic, data tables, and rule relationshipsYou have the desire to learn and apply new technologiesYou have the ability to self-train quickly and pick up new skills as necessaryUnderstanding of cloud offerings market space conceptsExemplary interpersonal skills
