Take a leading role in designing and developing software applications to control automated material handling equipment for use within manufacturing, warehousing and distribution industries.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Take a leading role in designing and developing software applications to control automated material handling equipment for use within manufacturing, warehousing and distribution industries.Perform in-house testing with software and hardware emulators.Create operator and administrator training manuals and materialsInstall systems at customer’s site and perform on-site integration with automated equipment.Train operatorsProvide ongoing support including after-hours support on a rotational basisAssume project management responsibilitiesLead and direct the work of other software developers

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.Minimum of four (4) years in Application development in the Windows Operating System environment and Visual Basic, C/C++ programming languages.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Oracle or SQL Server DatabaseExperience with Automated Material Handling Systems is preferredWillingness to travel.TRAVEL - This position requires 25- 40% travel including domestic and international. A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.

The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
