Senior Software Engineer
Thomson Reuters is looking for an experienced C# .Net developer to build applications which will integrate with our web-based HighQ - TR services. Your primary focus will be to design and develop applications for Windows OS which align with another client system functionality (i.e. OSX & IOS, Android). These applications will integrate with back-end web services and you will be working alongside other engineers on different layers of the infrastructure. You will need to have a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and a track record of creating quality products. 

About the Role:Delivers end-to-end technical solutions for multiple products or complex projectsLeads routine projects with manageable risks and resource requirementsMay manage budgets for small projects or programsSolves complex problems with minimal guidanceWork closely with Product Management to capture customer requirements Design, build/integrate and maintain products in Microsoft platform  Should have a proven record as a good team player Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications meets expectations Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs Maintaining code quality (i.e., SonarQube, Veracode, SNYK) as per organization standards  Create and maintain automated tests exercising application functionality Ensure code is developed using secure coding methodologies May support and develop software engineers by providing advice, mentoring, training, coaching, and educational opportunities. Leads routine projects with manageable risks and resource requirementsProvides subject matter expertise across sub-unitsGreat team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision Collaborates with other designers and engineers Breaks down customer requirements into work for the team can execute on. Ability to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders Clearly communicate technical concepts with others in the organization (Technical Communication, Support, Product and Cloud) by adjusting communication style to the audience

About You:7+ Years proficiency in C# .Net with a solid understanding of its ecosystems and at least four years of practical experience Must be familiar with.NET Core,.NET Frameworks, LINQ, Angular Windows application development experience of at least one year Strong knowledge of SOLID principles and object-oriented programming Understanding of multi-threading and memory management It will be advantageous to have worked with Microsoft Graph API, Office Javascript API It will be advantageous to have experience developing Microsoft Office Add-ons. Having knowledge of the Azure cloud concept is advantageous. Use of unit tests and automated testing platforms Understanding of continuous integration  solid understanding of performance thresholds and attributes Experience with embedded databases and other system datastore i.e., SQLite Ability to connect to back-end services using RESTful APIs User-oriented mindset and a strong understanding of UI design Expertise in optimisation and benchmarking Sound understanding of project management and code versioning tools (i.e., Github, ADO)
