Position: Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for Senior Software Engineers to join a fast-growing team on a mission to revolutionize digital assistants. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about creating impactful tools that empower users to achieve their best work.
You will play a critical role in driving projects forward with precision, taking end-to-end ownership of designs, deployments, and optimizations. This is a pivotal time to join, with a dynamic roadmap filled with exciting opportunities.
Roles and Responsibilities:Design and optimize database schemas using PostgreSQL and Redis.
Write high-quality code in TypeScript and Node.js.
Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Google Cloud Run or Kubernetes.
Build, review, and deploy cloud-native applications on platforms like GCP.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Drive projects from conception to deployment, solving real customer problems.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align development with business goals.
Contribute to single-page web app frameworks like React.
Document decisions and context to ensure shared understanding and continuity.
Job Requirements:8+ years of experience as an engineer on a high-performing team, preferably in a B2B SaaS company.
Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; startup experience is highly preferred.
Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration (e.g., Google Cloud Run, Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and services with at least one cloud provider (e.g., GCP).
Commitment to shipping code and delivering practical solutions over theoretical ones.
Operationally minded with forward-thinking documentation skills.
In-office presence required, 5 days per week in San Francisco.
Nice to Have:Prior experience as a founder, founding engineer, or being part of the first 15 employees at a reputable startup.
