Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Qualify integration of multiple features and components in system.You'll be responsible to define test charter, drive execution both manual and automated.You are expected to perform free forms testingYou are expected to initiate, introduce new processes to streamline the verification process.Integrate project testing with CI/CD pipeline.Conducted load, stress and endurance testsYou shall lead the external contractors automating the manual test casesBreak down problems and estimate time required for quality related tasksDemonstrate increasing expertise in application domain and functional areasApply various testing types and methodologies effectively during SDLCTake ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessaryApply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing TechniquesWork independently and delivers testing and use case creation which meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the projectWrite effective tests according to best practices so that crucial functional requirements are verified and tests remain valid when code is refactoredBegin to collaborate with development team in bugs fixing and build plansCollaborate with Quality Leaders in creating test plansImplement and configures testing tools and at times help junior staffImplement system-level integration testingBe skilled in core data structures and algorithmsDefine quality metrics, best practices and coding patterns, and provides deep expertise on the codingEducation Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with basic experience.8+ Years of experience in technologyTechnical expertise
6+ years or more professional experience System & Integration TestingExposure to microservice technologyDemonstrable experience and fluency with Test design Technique Experience in creating verification plan & controlling Verification execution Experience with Java testing frameworks (selenium).Experience with and understanding of Git Experience working in Scrum agile environment.Strong ability to analyse requirements and develop a risk based approach to testing Working knowledge on Linux based OS Exposure to Healthcare Domain.Able to embrace frequent changes Problem-solving mentality Good communication and reporting skills, both in writing and oral (in English)Desired Skills
Experience in writing & Maintaining Automation using selenium\\SquishHaving DevOps expertise CI/CD pipelines would be plusHand-on experience in any scripting languageExperience in testing cyber security features like LDAP, FIPS, STIGS etc. ISTQB or equivalent certification.
