Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our growing IoT team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design, development, and deployment of innovative IoT solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects involving the integration of various hardware and software components, including IP devices, cameras, and other sensors.

Mandatory Skills

Strong proficiency in Python, .NET, and C#. Experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, Vue.js). Experience with Azure Kubernetes and Docker. Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT, etc.). Experience with developing and integrating with RESTful APIs. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience with IoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, and XMPP. Experience with stream processing technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Azure Stream Analytics). Experience with data visualization and analytics tools. Experience with DevOps practices and tools. Understanding of security best practices for IoT systems (e.g., data encryption, authentication).

Roles And Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software applications for IoT devices and cloud platforms. Develop and implement robust and secure communication protocols for data exchange between IoT devices and cloud services. Integrate with a diverse range of IoT devices and sensors, such as IP cameras, environmental sensors, and other connected devices. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for data ingestion, processing, and retrieval. Develop user-friendly and intuitive user interfaces (UIs) using React or similar front-end technologies. Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on Azure. Leverage cloud computing platforms (Azure preferred) for scalable and reliable deployments. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, data scientists, product managers, and other stakeholders. Clearly and concisely communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proactively identify and troubleshoot software issues. Debug and optimize code for performance and efficiency. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in IoT technologies, industry best practices, and emerging trends.
