Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Identify the scope of the work, provide initial estimates and justify the estimate with factsEngage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas through white boardingMaintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and code quality automationSeek and provide feedback on design and developmentUnderstand whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned component or moduleHelp in designing interfaces and information exchange between modulesBe an expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the projectBe fluent in core data structures as well as algorithms and can implement them in Java and PythonWork with Product Manager (PM/TPMs) and architects to understand product requirements & vision
 

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software development in JavaExperience in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications using SpringBoot and other related frameworksHands-on experience working with Python, PostgreSQL, and version control tools like GitHub/GitlabExperience in developing and maintaining APIs that are scalable, secure, and highly availableExperience in developing microservices-based applications and RESTful APIsStrong experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies such as DockerUnderstanding of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitOps, etc.Well-rounded software development skills and experience - Agile development methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, unit testing, code reviews, and operations.
