Senior Software Engineer (React, Typescript, CSS/SASS, JSS, Headless Sitecore)

We are seeking a talented and experienced senior web developer to join our team. As a primarily front-end engineer, you should have strong proficiency with React, Typescript and CSS/SASS, and be comfortable working with large-scale web applications. Additionally, experience with or interest in headless Sitecore and C# is a plus.

Responsibilities

System Analysis & Requirements Gathering:

Technical discussions with engineers and QA to ensure alignment with project goals and expectations.High-level system analysis, including reviewing backlog and user stories in JIRA for tracking progress.

Design, Development & Deployment:

Coding and new feature development using knowledge in React, TypeScript, C#, Sitecore, Powershell and GitCoordinating development tasks and testing efforts by having regular discussion with Engineers and QA, mentoring team members on industry best practices, code quality, and efficient debugging techniques for UI.Applied knowledge of SCSS to enhance CSS styling in specific application modules.Conducting code reviews and enforcing coding standards and best practices in React and other UI frameworks, ensuring optimal performance and maintainability.Working with Project managers, designers, and content authors on regular basis to gather requirements and discuss Sitecore related changes.Planning and prioritizing publish queues for major Sitecore updates.Participation in the release process using basic working knowledge of tools like Argo, Grafana, AWS and Jenkins.Sharing feedback and identifying training opportunities to enhance team capabilities.

Agile & SDLC Management:

Taking an active role in agile release planning, sprint iterations, and retrospective sessions, ensuring continuous delivery in a fast-paced environment.Participating in sprint reviews and grooming sessions, providing regular updates to business stakeholders on development progress and identifying areas for process improvement.Providing mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering an environment of knowledge sharing and technical growth.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in front-end web developmentStrong proficiency with React, Typescript, and CSS/SassUnderstanding of RESTful APIs and headless CMSProficiency with Node.js and NPMProficiency with GitAbility to write clean, reusable, and maintainable codeFamiliarity with agile development methodologiesExcellent problem-solving and debugging skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

Familiarity with headless Sitecore or other headless CMS utilizing JSSFamiliarity with C#.NETKnowledge of SEO best practices and accessibility standards

Although hybrid to a local HUB office is desirable, this position is open to remote candidates.

Disclosure required under applicable municipal regulations in NY and NJ, as well as the law in Colorado: The expected salary range for this position is $115,000 to $136,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
