As a Senior Software engineer, you will be responsible for programming a component, feature and or feature set. Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and to other teams across business. You will also contribute to design discussions.
Providing technical leadership and defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructureProviding technical leadership to an agile team of 5-7Working with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & visionTranslating requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standardsWorking with product line leaders and architects to develop multi generation software technology plansDriving increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuseSupporting process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activitiesCoaching, mentoring and leading the teamWorking cross functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverablesDriving world-class quality in the development and support of productsCommunicating effectively both within immediate team and also across SSG leadership team and with PLLsEnsuring team receives consistent messages and has clear understanding of business direction, strategy and resultsEngaging subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledgeApplying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing TechniquesWriting code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the projectUnderstanding performance parameters and assess application performanceWorking on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosensharing information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timelinessFuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have bachelor's degree in IT / Computers / Engineering with 7-11 years of experience in supporting business applications and technologies to digitize business processes.Have 3+ years of experience on managing technical design solutions on Force.com with a focus on Salesforce, Classic, Lightning, Visual Force, Apex, Java Services and integration techniques.Have experience in Apex Classes and Apex TriggersHave experience in Apex Scheduler and Batch ApexHave experience in Workflow Rules and Lightning Aura ComponentsHave experience in Events, Integration and LWC ( Lightning Web Components) Have experience in SOQL and SOSLHave experience in Apex Data Loader and LightningHave Object-oriented programming with at least one of the following object-oriented programming languages (Java, Python)Have Salesforce implementation and development.Have Enterprise-level Salesforce projects using SF Agile software ToolsHave experience working with Sales Cloud or Service Cloud or FSL – Field Service Lightening.Have certifications with Salesforce / Mulesoft / Copado, for eg: Certified SFDC Administrator & Certified Platform Developer 1.Work in a way that works for you
