We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our new team for Container Infrastructure and Services at Oracle-NetSuite in Brno. Being part of our team will give you an opportunity to have a direct and significant impact on the foundation upon which Oracle NetSuite is built and how other services are deployed and running. 

In this role, your focus will be on building and configuring new platform based on Kubernetes. Also supporting the actual transition of respective services and applications. You will help us modernize and improve development experience through simple and fully automatic deployment and configuration processes with a particular focus on Infrastructure as Code. Additionally, you will help define and develop the software, workflow, and tooling of our Continuous Integration and Deployment framework(s) in the Oracle Cloud.

 

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 5+ years of experience of object oriented programming (preferably Java) Experience with Python and shell scripting Linux system knowledge Familiarity with tools and process for Infrastructure as Code, including SaltStack and Terraform Familiarity with container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes Comfortable analyzing complex problems at all levels of the stack, on both client and server (OS, Network, JVM, Application/Browser/CLI, Storage).

Experience provisioning, deploying, and managing complex application deployments in IaaS environments (e.g. Amazon EC2, Microsoft Azure. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) Passion for high-quality code Interest and enthusiasm for new technologies that can be applied to large-scale cloud systems
