The Senior Software Engineer, SAP Finance Fixed Assets should have experience delivering full lifecycle projects in SAP S/4HANA in the areas of Financial Accounting, including integration with Controlling and Logistics modules such as Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, and should have good understanding of working in a SOX and GxP environment.  This person shall drive work in the areas of SAP Finance Fixed Assets, Project System and Flexible Real Estate Management.

Key Responsibilities

Drive work in areas of SAP Finance Fixed Assets, Project System and Flexible Real Estate Management

Provide solutions using SAP S/4HANA application as well as related bolt-on, tools and integration systems

Part of the team that produces deliverables as specified by Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to support Finance requirements globally

Accountable for delivery of projects on time and on budget, adhering to high-quality development principles, and manage stakeholder communications

Build strong interpersonal relationships with peers, IT business partners, business, and other key stakeholders to help with smooth implementation of new applications/capabilities and technologies

Absorb new ideas and drive continuous improvement for operations and design of processes

Develops self and others through training and project work assignments

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience

At least 5 to 7 years of experience implementing projects in SAP Finance Fixed Assets and other related Finance areas with full cycle SAP implementations

Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA SAP Finance Fixed Assets functionality and related SAP areas such as General Ledger, Project System and Flexible Real Estate Management

Strong understanding of Finance business processes and master data

Knowledge of integration of SAP Finance to other SAP modules like Controlling, Materials Management and Sales and Distribution

Knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and Business Consolidation (SEM-BCS) is a plus

Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry is a plus

Experience implementing SAP solutions and interfaces in an FDA and GxP regulated environment

Experience managing projects or components of large projects

Able to deal with ambiguity in problem definition and organizational relationships and experience working in a matrix organization

Able to direct multiple activities and projects at once and prepare for a pipeline of demand

Able to manage work across virtual teams

Demonstrates focus on improving processes, structures, and knowledge within the team

Demonstrates openness to learning new skills and helping others to raise their “technology quotient”

Leads in analyzing current states, delivering strong recommendations that are actionable

Strong oral and written presentation skills
