**What is the job about?**
As a Software Development Engineer, you will develop a secure and fit-for-purpose edge computing software platform for embedded edge computing and IoT connectivity. You will play a key role in developing future processes and architecture for the embedded Linux IoT Edge Platform.
**Your main responsibilities**
+ Design, develop, document, and deliver cloud agnostic, scalable and secure infrastructure solutions
+ Maintain and develop Infrastructure-as-Code and Kubernetes deployment configurations
+ Container technologies such as Docker and Podman
+ Software development on Linux based Edge platform using primarily C/C++, Go and Python
+ Improve the quality of existing software, fix bugs, and conduct tests.
+ Test driven development using the Behave framework, unit test development, E2E test and CI/CD pipelines
+ Build and share knowledge on relevant fieldbuses, key technologies, and method improvements.
+ Support development of platform architecture, test, and requirement processes.
+ Experience with Cybersecurity topics and certifications preferred
**Your background**
We imagine that you have:
+ A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronics, software, or computer science.
+ 3-4 years of relevant experience within embedded Linux and IoT connectivity software development.
+ Experience with Cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines, as well as orchestration tools such as ArgoCD
+ Strong ability to plan your work and keep track of time spent and quality in deliveries.
+ Experience in developing processes within product development.
+ Great understanding of the relevant development systems and processes for software development.
+ High proficiency in reading and writing English.
