What you'll do:The Senior Software Developer will join our team focused on developing and supporting the Reporting Framework. You will be working on components within our MyGeotab product responsible for translating raw data into reports that are meaningful and configurable by our end users. In this role, you will collaborate closely with other teams to refine buisness requirements, design and develop efficient software solutions and act as a mentor to other developers on the team. How you'll make an impact Define, design, and implement continuous integration pipeline improvements and new functionality in collaboration with other members of the development team. Improve and implement other testing functionality such as staging deployments and scalability tests Perform Test-Driven and Security-Driven Development. Conduct comprehensive code reviews and ensure that coding standards are followed. Analyze call stacks, trace files, debug logs or performance data to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of bugs. Participate in development of prototypes, minimum viable products and PoCs. Direct team-wide maintenance of code quality, organization and automation. Provide design documents and documentation to ensure efficient maintenance and code reuse. Provide recommendations for improvements in the overall development process. Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotating schedule. What you'll bring to the role 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong background in .NET framework, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, and React. Proven experience with using Linux, C# and experience with object-oriented design, unit testing, optimization and multithreaded programming. Strong understanding of database design and query optimization. Proven experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks. Experience with RESTful API design and development. Diploma/Degree specialization in Computer Science, Electrical or Software Engineering or other related degree. Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control (Git), testing, and code reviews. Ability to work independently and in a team, take initiative, and drive projects to completion. Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlinesExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) - preferred. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) - preferred. Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio of personal projects - preferred. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines - preferred.
