Role Objective
Working as part of an Agile project team, the Automation Tester is fully responsible for ensuring that the testing on their project is carried out effectively, according to guidelines, best practices and the test plan. The Automation Tester should be able to understand and interpret inputs from a wide variety of sources in order to execute testing for an increment or release of the project. The role is hands-on incorporating defining, carrying out and reporting the results of full breadth of testing, including the generation and maintenance of appropriate test data.

An experience of more than 5 years in software automation testing.

Mandatory working experience in following technology and tools :

Playwright - Javascript/C#JMeterWeb API Testing, PostmanSQL

Good to have knowledge and experience of the following
BDD
Performance testing
Automation Framework development

Good understanding and experience of testing of the followingUnit, Integration, System and Acceptance testingSmoke, Regression, Functional, Non-Functional, Performance, Usability, Security, and Internationalization testingStatic, Dynamic, White-box, Black-box, Visual analysis techniques:Proven problem solving and analysis skills in a software development and full breadth of testing.

Primary ResponsibilitiesPreparing a test plan and test scripts to test each software component and demonstrate the business condition under test and the expected results, building in automation routines where applicable.Selection and use of appropriate test techniques in different situationsEnsuring quality and accuracy is maintained through to software releaseAble to undertake non-functional testsTest Script creation, execution and reporting including web testingClose collaboration with developers, architects and other team members in an agile environmentProviding feedback to the development team and ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and quality requirementsDemonstrating new and updated functionality changes to internal staff where requiredIdentify and analyze problems, reporting or escalating appropriatelyUnderstand the domain, features and functionalitiesUnderstand software architecture and constructionUnderstand operating environmentsApply strong organizational skills and group effectivenessApply analytical skills and creative thinkingProvide coaching to junior QA staff
