Position Description:

Your future duties and responsibilities:

As a Senior Service Designer, you will play a crucial role in applying design thinking principles across all phases of the process, with a strong focus on research and prototyping. You will create and work with service blueprints and other visualization tools to manage complexity and ensure clarity in the development of large-scale software applications.
A key aspect of your role will be analyzing user and customer journey touchpoints, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending enhancements to elevate user interactions and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that Service Design principles are seamlessly integrated into the software development process.
Facilitating workshops and brainstorming sessions, you will drive cross-functional collaboration and foster alignment on project goals. Your work will ensure that design solutions align with organizational strategies, delivering measurable business value. Additionally, you will support change management initiatives in organizations aiming to become more customer- and user-centric.
Ultimately, you will balance the three key dimensions of human, business, and technology to create innovative, impactful solutions that drive meaningful change

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, Business, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- 5 years proven experience in Service Design, UX design, or related roles, specifically within software projects.
- Strong understanding of design thinking principles and methodologies.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex design challenges.
- Strategic and holistic thinking with a mindset that seeks to empower teams to adopt design thinking
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle is a plus.
Nice to have:
- Experience with design tools (such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD) and prototyping methodologies
- Having experience/knowledge of working with design immature organisations
