The Senior/Lead Security Engineer is responsible for the overall management of large enterprise network and security infrastructure. This includes planning, design, monitoring and management, troubleshooting, resolution, and policy management. This role requires in-depth technical expertise in networking, security, and cloud infrastructure. This person will work within a team of security engineers, network engineers, operation support engineers, and implementation engineers to support NTT’s customers. **Primary Responsibilities:** • Operates and maintains enterprise customer network and security devices • Daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution for security device functionality • Optimizes enterprise security device functionality to detect, avoid, and respond to security vulnerabilities • Maintains and secures global corporate cloud backbone infrastructure • Performs security design and architecture reviews, and develops detailed health assessment and remediation deployment plans • Designs and implements security projects including technology proof of concept testing and implementation for enterprise customers • Provides consulting to enterprise customers for IT/OT security compliance and policies • Performs network security equipment software and configuration upgrades • Serves as an escalation contact for junior engineers on complex issues and designs • Trains junior security and network engineers on specific security technologies • On-call for escalated security issues Required Skills and Experience • Extensive experience with Firewall/IDS/IPS - Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto, MS Azure, Zscaler, and Barracuda • Expert knowledge of network security products such as next-generation firewalls, web security, malware, DDOS, ILP, NAC and zero-day attack • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure - AWS, MS Azure, Cloud stack, OpenStack, Netskope, Palo Alto Prisma, and ZScaler • Experience with Network Access Control - Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass • Experience with Load Balancers - F5 BigIP LTM/GTM, Citrix ADC • Experience with SIEM Products - QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel • Experience in security penetration testing and security infrastructure assessments • Knowledgeable on automation and scripting languages such as Python and Perl • Expert level knowledge of network protocols and technologies across a range of hardware and infrastructure - AD, VLANs, VoIP, AAA/TACACS, and ACLs • Strong hands-on network and application troubleshooting experience • Knowledge of security compliance and guidelines in major industries • Extensive knowledge of IP networking, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and business applications traversing networks • Excellent computer skills including Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems **Additional Requirements:** • BS Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience • Security Certifications – CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CEH, etc. • Ability to manage multiple projects, to include resources, priorities, and timelines • Prior experience working on global teams that provide 24x7 support to customers • Willingness and ability to conduct meetings and field communication outside of normal working hours to accommodate global teams • Ability to work effectively with clients, senior management, staff, and vendors • Previous experience working with and presenting to an executive audience • Excellent oral communication, written communication, and presentation skills • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills **Workplace type** **:** On-site Working **About NTT DATA** NTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
