Senior SEC Reporting Analyst

Job DescriptionAssist in the preparation of externally reported financial data, including the Company’s SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.) and quarterly earnings releasesTie out the Company’s financial statements, footnotes, and other external financial information using general ledger support, internal schedules, and third-party supportCreate/update supporting schedules for the preparation of financial statementsCoordinate with personnel from other departments to gather, consolidate and analyze financial informationCoordinate the collection of review comments on external reporting (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.) from key stakeholders in the disclosure processCoordinate in documenting and maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley controls for SEC reporting requirements.Provide support and assist in the coordination of annual audit and quarterly reviews with both external and internal auditorsResearch accounting and reporting issues and provide a summary of impacts on the Company’s accounting systems, accounting policies, financial statements and disclosures and participates on implementation teamsComplete accounting whitepapers and present technical accounting findings to senior managementAssist in preparing and analyzing significant transactions, contract reviews and other technical items to determine the appropriate accounting and reporting treatmentPrepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and conclude on appropriate accounting treatment related to share-based compensation (ASC 718) and investments (ASC 320)Maintain quarterly/annual reporting timelines and monitor progress against the reporting cycle milestones; continuously assess external reporting processes for improvement of quality and efficiencyOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: 

3+ years of public accounting experience and/or relevant accounting or financial reporting experienceBachelor’s degree

Preferred Requirements: 

Advanced Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skillsExperience with NetSuite and OneStream is a plusCPA certification desiredStrong organizational and time management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks concurrentlyAbility to work independently and apply problem solving skills as well as able to work in a team environmentEffective written and verbal communication skills

DOE, salary $110K - $120K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience/education and location.
