Learn more at www.jnj.com The Senior Scientist MST MES will establish Manufacturing Science and Technology MES expertise across different equipment platforms for drug product development & manufacturing with a focus on Parenterals, Device Assembly and Optical Inspection. You will represent and support the DPDS in development and/or clinical/commercial supply teams ensuring timely clinical supplies for drug products. Key Responsibilities: + Support timely readiness of internal plant to support clinical activities by supporting with Parameter Value list and/or retrieving tech transfer memo data. + Provide input and requirements to drug product development and primary container development teams. + Ensures that manufacturing processes are consistent with agreed platforms according to global and local standards for MES and are scalable and transferable to commercial operations within MES. + Support investigations, CAPAs, change controls according to assigned responsibilities and perform critical raw data review for key documents. + Acts as a developing subject matter expert and work independently to manage or contribute to research MES projects. + Generate innovative research ideas and initiatives to support digitalization. + Life Cycle management of existing GMBRs or MBRs + Model new GMBR or MBR templates for NPI, engineering and technical runs + Coach and train junior colleagues in techniques, processes and responsibilities. **Qualifications** Qualifications Education: + PhD in Pharmaceutical, Biochemical, Chemical, Life Sciences or a related field with 2+ years of experience OR Master's degree with 4+ years of experience OR Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience is required. Experience and Skills: Required: + Demonstrated proficiency and experience in manufacturing execution system such as PAS-X from Werum. + Understanding and experience in fill/finish and/or combination product (device assembly) operations. + Experience in clinical or commercial manufacturing. + Motivated personality with the ability to work independently. + Ability to interpret complex datasets and effectively communicate to stakeholders. + Proven track record of creativity and problem solving skills. + Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. + Excellent oral and written language skills in German and English are required.
