Global Digital Services (GDS) is supporting BASF business in Digitalization transformation. Our MISSION is to drive forward the digital transformation of BASF, providing innovative, global and high-quality digital products and services through a strong agile culture.

 

Part of the GDS strategy, BASF Shared Services Center Kuala Lumpur (BSSCKL) is one of the established Digital Hub for APAC region.

 

Order Management Solutions creates, delivers and runs digital applications for users managing sales & distribution activities in the movement of goods between BASF divisions and end-customers. Working agilely, we enable functionality of core systems & processes.  We partner and consult with stakeholders to innovate solutions proactively across multiple technology platforms to anticipate future needs.

 

The team is responsible for development and operations of the respective SAP application. The senior DevOps engineer will be part of the development team and work on backlog items in a self-organized way.

 

Responsibilities

 

Support requirement gathering and creation of user storiesDesign solutions and do configurations/customization (especially in area of Billing Pricing and Tax)Support the technical consultants in functional topicsPrepare and execute functional tests and Maintain user documentationSupport Migration of R3 to S4 HANA, and adapt to New Functionalities and follow the BASF GuidelinesImplement New E-invoice Solution and able to maintain and support user Tickets that are escalated to Level 2Support the technical consultants in functional topics and be able to read and debug programs.Work with Fiori apps and S4 FunctionalitiesWork with Connectivity team for interface with Tax Authorities / 3rd Party Entities.Active participation in team agile events; proactive, self-organized pulling of tasks from an agile backlogSupport of the BASF Digital roadmap, helping GDS to identify, execute and implement customer-centric digital solutions in an actionable and measurable way

 

Requirements

 

Mandatory skills/requirements

 

Degree in Computer Science, informatics, business informatics or in a comparable fieldMinimum 4-5 years related working experience with SAP applications.Experience with S/4 HANA and SAP Fiori.Working with Cloud Complaint solutions.Good functional knowledge of processes in SAP SD / Order-To-Cash.Good knowledge of SAP SD customizing especially in area of Billing, Pricing and Tax.Experience in E-invoice implementation of at least 1-2 companies
