The role
As a Senior SAP Developer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Working with our internal customers, you will deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SAP functionality across our UK Business areas.
Day-to-day, you’ll be a subject matter expert in SAP development technologies providing guidance across the stakeholder community and work with the Applications team to ensure all applications are fit for purpose and deliver business value.
Provide specialist level development, configuration, and functional support for the SAP development solutions to agreed SLAs. Assist with system design and development activities relating to general SAP development. Deliver specific SAP solutions for projects using agreed standards and governance processes. Ensure any configurations and development work is completed and tested within agreed timescales and delivered to the agreed standard. Ensure consistent application and technical documentation is updated for all tasks. Work within the team to identify and suggest existing or new emerging standards and best practice for the service.
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with occasional travel.
Essential experience of the Senior SAP Developer
Strong SAP background in implementation and support. Demonstrable and strong knowledge of OData, CDS, ABAP, WebDynPro, Workflow, Fiori and UI5. Highly beneficial to have experience of working with S/4 Hanna and BTP. Broader knowledge of SAP functional areas such as FI, HCM, SCM, PM, PP, PS, MM, IM and WM. Experience designing business process diagrams and data flows within relevant written documentation.
