What You'll Do The role involves integrating solutions with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to deliver seamless, user-friendly enterprise applications that enhance user experience and refine business processes. You will report to Manager, Software Engineering. Custom Development System Integration Performance Optimization Technical Architecture Design SAP Fiori and UI5 Development OData Services Core Data Services (CDS): API Development and Integration Security and Authorization Test and Debug Training and Documentation Product Management Post-Implementation Support What Your Responsibilities Will Be You will use ABAP to create custom solutions when standard SAP functionality does not meet our requirements. You will develop reports, interfaces, extensions. You will create and maintain enhancements, user-exits, and BAdIs (Business Add-Ins) for custom functionality. You will integrate SAP with other third-party applications (i.e. Tax Engines, e-Invoicing Systems, 1099 Systems, Property Tax Systems). You will build and deploy cloud-native applications using SAP BTP services. You will use SAP BTP for enhancing and extending S/4HANA. You will work with integration services like SAP Cloud Integration to connect SAP systems with other applications. You will develop and configure interfaces using SAP CPI for SAP systems. You will monitor, troubleshoot & increase integration flows for performance and reliability. You will ensure Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners between systems using best practices for API and data integrations. You will develop & manage APIs to facilitate communication between SAP and external systems. You will collaborate with non -SAP developers to integrate external APIs with SAP systems. You will analyze system performance and increase processes for faster execution. You will debug and troubleshoot system errors, performance bottlenecks, or inconsistencies. You will help with the design and setup of SAP landscapes, including system architecture, and cloud solutions. (ECC and S/4) You will help manage SAP Basis activities, such as system upgrades, transport management, security roles, and database administration. You will develop, customize & extend SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5. You will implement user interfaces for business processes. You will manage Fiori Launchpad configuration and role-based access control. You will design and develop OData services to expose SAP functionality to front-end applications. You will integrate OData services with SAP Fiori apps, external systems, and APIs. You will create and optimize CDS views for efficient data modeling in S/4HANA. You will ensure the quality of technical components through testing. You will provide ongoing technical support and maintenance. You will fix bugs, enhance existing custom developments, and implement upgrades or patches. You will support SAP functional analyst and Product Management with Documentation, Knowledge transfer, demos, and Training. What You'll Need to be Successful SAP Expertise: 4+ years of experience as an SAP technical consultant or developer. Proficiency in SAP ABAP, ABAP Objects, and related tools. Knowledge of specific SAP modules (FICO, SD, MM) and their functionality. Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with APIs, IDocs, BAPIs, and Web Services. SAP BTP and CPI. UI Development: Skills in SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS. Database Management: Understanding of databases like HANA, SQL Server, or Oracle. Experience approaching a problem from different angles, analyzing pros and cons of different solutions to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. SAP Basis Knowledge (optional): Familiarity with system administration tasks such as monitoring, performance tuning, and upgrades. Experience with Product Management software (ie JIRA). Experience with Indirect Tax Software integrations. (ie Sovos, Avalara, Vertex). #LI-Remote This is a remote role.
